Required Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience in software design and development
  • 2+ years’ experience in C#
  • 2+ years of ASP.NET development, MVC preferred
  • 2+ years of client-side web development, preferably Knockout or AngularJS
  • Solid OO programming skills
  • Familiarity with web application design and development principles
  • Experience in using/creating SOAP and REST APIs
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, XML, JQuery, AJAX
  • Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3
  • Database design and programming knowledge with MS SQL Server and/or MySQL
  • Experience with .NET and Visual Studio (latest versions)
  • Solid communication and team working skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Urge to continually learn and improve
  • Passionate about the latest web development technologies

Will be considered as a plus

  • Post-graduate degrees are not required but they will be considered a plus
  • Basic Windows Server and IIS administration skills
  • Familiarity with distributed source control such as git

Position Responsibilities

  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Establish and maintain long-term client business relationships
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Identify industry decision makers and build relationships
  • Develop and establish partnerships with third party companies

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
  • Knowledge of the online travel and hospitality industry is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English
